You can hard code a date into the EXE
Ex.
IF date() > DATE(2009,06,30)
=MESSAGEBOX("YOUR MESSAGE")
EXIT
ENDIF

If your applicaton is date based eg. producing invoices, you and check both system DATE and the current "application date".

OR

You Can fix an upper limit on the number of records in a particular DBF.
At the start of the application you can check to see if the number of records exceeds the Max Limit you can make the application QUIT or You can allow the user to continue using the application but start displaying an annoying "Evaluation Copy" message at important times during runtime of your application.
