Hello Rajesh,

After having some troubles with the native FILE() command, I ended by using a separate function for the purpose, that never failed to me:
Here's my "FILEINDISK" function:

FUNCTION FileInDisk
LPARAMETERS zcfilename
IF TYPE("zcfilename") <> "C"
    RETURN .F.
ENDIF
DIMENSION laJunk[1] &&' so it is local
RETURN (ADIR(laJunk, zcfilename, "ARS") > 0)
