You need to evaluate the variable:

cDisplayValue = Alltrim(Upper(This.Value))
 Select pcode As pcode,Lpo as Lpo,sono as Sono,sodate as sodate,location as Location From somain ;
     WHERE Upper(CustLoca.pcode) = Upper(m.cDisplayValue) and LPO LIKE "%" + m.cDisplayValue + "%" INTO Cursor TmpCust
