Those I learned in 2002 still works even in the 2012 version. I have observed that those we hard-code in early versions were already made built-in in the later versions so Microsoft only made our coding easier in each new version. It was only in 2008 when I really had the chance to use it in one of my projects. Back in 2002, I read a beginner book from page 1 to last page in a few days - I was so determined to finish the book so I also read while eating (LOL). After that, most of my learning comes from the help documentation that comes from installing Visual Studio. Nowadays, I learn by simply using google or directly from stackoverflow.
