Hi Stefan,
Thanks a lot for your reply. No, that was not the case intended. My intension was
1. to initiate the app by setting up the environment (setup1)
2. to enable a user to login (form1)
3. to create an app menu if the login is successful (menu1)
4. to manipulate user data from the menu (bar1, ba2 etc)
5. to let app loop until the user exits (exit1).

Yes, you are right. I'm a rookie in VFP and OOP. I was a programmer, system analyst and computer center manager in the 60's and 70's (in Germany as well). What I wanna do know is to port a production specific app developed by me in foxplus and still running on unix platform into VFP on Windows. I'm afraid that the unix server and everything on it will remain unattended when I retire soon.
