> HI,

> A very strange thing is happening. I have set the windowstate of a form to 2 i.e. maximised. This form has no border and titlebar. When I run the form, on some occasions it displays correctly but on others it is not maximised. When I go to the form designer, I find that the width of the window has become 1600 . Now , I see that with every run of the form the width of the window keeps increasing but because it is maximised I am not able to notice it while running. Also, I have noticed that whenever the table populating the grid on the form is empty, then it always shows the form as normal, not maximised. Actually , there is code in the activate of the form that checks if the table is empty and adds a new record. I have traced this method right upto the forms baseclass and all other methods in between, but I didn't find any suspicious lines. Can anybody help please ?

I have found the answer to this. But strangely the culprit was a setfocus in the addnew() of my form, which was called when the table was empty. When I commented out the thisform.grid1.column1.setfocus the form is working right. Any comments.

Thanx ,

Anil
