> I have a grid with 4 column and these column are set up with the standard controls, header and textbox. I have some code in the valid method of the textbox in column 3. When I run the form, I can't get this code to run when I leave column 3 by hitting the enter or tab keys. Now I am changing the controlsource of the columns periodically with a command button. But I wouldn't think that the controlsource property would effect the valid event of the textbox. What am I overlooking here?

Do you change the RecordSource of the grid at any point? If so, that's the problem because the grid is "rebuilt" from defaults when you set the RecordSource. There are a couple of solutions to this problem. Let me know if this is your situation and I'll offer some solutions.
