From what you have described I assume that you have a grid with the table as its RecordSource.l It is not clear from your message, but I assume that your "t_out" is NOT a variable but the name of the field in the table. If it is the case, then try

replace t_out with t_in+hours*3600+min*60

As of where is the code for VFP solution samples, then try to find the file xsource.zip.
