Hi Andy,
Thanks a lot for the previous solution.
I am able to code for only one row in the grid and have to maintain the code for only that row
for any updates.
Can you help me out on this strange grid column behavior'
As you know that I have a column with two command buttons
One of them is visible as per another columns value.
Basically what happens is as I click the first button the other button becomes
visible .

Now when I click the first button , two columns in the grid get a second() value
When I click the second button that is visible now , the first column should retain the first second() value and the
second column should have the current second() value as the diff of these two values will help me to determine
the duration a person is logged on. However what happens is that on clicking the current button both columns
get the current second() value.

However, it is strange that if I click the first button or second button for another row and then come to the previous
row than no doubt the second column gets the current second() value and the first column value is static.

I put set step on on both the buttons click() and I found that on clicking the second button immediately after
clicking the first button does not fire the click event for the button but is fired when i move to a different row
and come back to that row again.

Sorry , I made this too long . But I am sure you can help me out on this.
