Actually it is an almost-too-specific answer to your relatively unspecific question.

In other words:

Yes, you'd use the appropriate column.Dynamic* property for that purpose.
Details would depend on what your (data driven) criteria for the highlighting are, which then would make something like Iif() or ICase() expression(s).
