Other way to do it without having a physical VCX/SCT file is using "Bernard Bout's Super Technique!" :-)

Define your class in a PRG similar to this below:

Define Class GrdClass As Grid
	NewProperty = .Null.  &&Add your property
Enddefine


Then open that PRG file in the Class Browser and drag the Grid Icon onto your form.
