I am making a multi-lingual exe with VFP.
It has Thai and Chinese. Chinese is a double-character language, but Thai is not. WHen a user wants to print a report in Chinese from the exe, he must goes to Control Panel of the Windows XP OS and locate the Reginal and Language Options and then click the Advanced tab and then change the language from Thai to Chinese for to make Chinese the language for non-unicode programs. Otherwise, the report could not display the Chinese words in the report properly. And then the Windows XP will reboot and the user could preview/print the report in Chinese. And if he needs to print the report in Thai, he needs to follow the same step and change the language for non-unicode from Chinese to Thai. Otherwise, the report could not display the Thai words in the report properly.
All these steps are done manually and repeative, wasting time. I want to make a routine in the VFP exe to let users directly change langauge for non-unicode programs between Thai and Chinese from within the exe, without having to go to the Control Panel every time. Could I do that? How?
