The help file specifiyes that the textbox will not lose focus for both RETURN .T. and RETURN 0, but never mentions which one leads to a "invalid input" in VALID event. I do not know how you can get the knowledge of "RETURN 0" disabling "INVALID INPUT" from the help file itself. But when you said "trying things out myself", I understand.
