Ben - you have 2 threads for this same issue. Please do not do that. I was thinking that someone else is having the same problem.

As Eric points out in your other thread, there is nothing wrong with your statement. Must be something in lcout, or a hidden character in your source. Delete the entire block of code and retype it. Do not copy/paste as that will just copy the same bad characters.
