You are right. Reading a related book again lets me know there is no equivalent function for LOCK/FLOCK in MSS.
I have to use the default Read Committed isolation level for all transactions. There is no cause to use serializable level, yes? Or would you please raise any example to justify its use?
Another question,for a remote view, a conflict could be detected by TABLEUPDATE(.T.,.F.). But for SPT such as SQLExec(lnhdl,"UPDATE CUSTOMER SET last_name='ABC'"), how could I determine any conflict?
