Oh, I thought you wanted to achieve some sort of output for reporting purposes. I did not notice that your thread title is about optimizing your code; that is why I am asking for sample data. :-)

Well glad that it works for you. Although the mdot when assigning a value to a variable may or may not affect speed, I suggest you remove those for better readability. That is to me but if you are used to that, then maybe it is just okay.

m.MyVariable = 0
STORE 0 to m.MyVariable

m.xxcutbal=m.xxcutbal+inwardbo.totcut
m.xxwtbal=m.xxwtbal+inwardbo.beamwt



I prefer:

MyVariable = 0
STORE 0 to MyVariable

xxcutbal=m.xxcutbal+inwardbo.totcut
xxwtbal=m.xxwtbal+inwardbo.beamwt
