I've seen a lot of posts on this subject across the web and I'm kind a confused as to which would be my best/easiest to pull off..

MK. I finally got around to working with the GridExtra Class and it's really cool but whenever I exit the form/grid after clicking on the headers to resort the columns etc it does something to my indexes. I get the error "table has no index order set". If I just go into the grid and move around with out clicking on the headers to change the sort order it exits fine. I've followed the sample.prg that comes with this but I can't seem to figure out how to set it so my set order commands don't get lost. The wierd thing is that my select commands are intact after the exit and just the indexes are gone..

Here's how I open and set my tables incase this makes a difference..

select a
use pbook index upc, itemnum
set order to 2

After the grid closes and I exit the form I just do thisform.release() and it returns focus back to the calling form and the first thing it does is this..

select a
set order to 1
go top

And I get the "table has no index order set" error..

Thanks for your help..
