I finally got around to working with the GridExtra Class and it's really cool but whenever I exit the form/grid after clicking on the headers to resort the columns etc it does something to my indexes. I get the error "table has no index order set". If I just go into the grid and move around with out clicking on the headers to change the sort order it exits fine. I've followed the sample.prg that comes with this but I can't seem to figure out how to set it so my set order commands don't get lost. The wierd thing is that my select commands are intact after the exit and just the indexes are gone..

You seem to be using individual index files instead of compound index files. Use compound index files instead. Instead of INDEX ON .... TO, use INDEX ON ... TAG TagName.
