Is there any other object I can use to achieve this? Currently the video uses a Quicktime plugin to play but we have had problems with Quicktime in the past (freezing mostly). I really would prefer to do it natively if at all possible. Any suggestions?

Thank you so much Bernard. I was on the right track (already had Google Chrome Frame) but I got stuck after that. Thanks to your help I have everything up and running!
