As to the Logo, a Fox in a Maze concept might work.
Fox in a Maze? Sorry, can you tell me what you mean by that?
Apparantly my English lacks here.

Ideas? You have two basic approaches you can use: A how to concept, or a conceptual objective approach. If you go with the how to concept, you could offer things like "how to create a form" or "how to create a sub-class" but this approach misses the "Why."
You can show the learner a step by step approach to creating sub-classes but it really does not really show the user why it is advisable to subclass. If you really want to be effective, use a conceptual objective approach. You could create a lesson where the learner discovers the benefits of creating and using sub-classes. In discovering the reasons for subclassing, the learner would also discover how to subclass.

You exactly describe my idea here. Not just showing HOW, but most and for all, the WHY!!
Do not underestimate the HOW, however, if one knows a bit abt architecture then the subclassing will be more dedicated and probably less work... So architecture will be included extensively.
