The command is
 APPEND FROM "Importfile.xls" TYPE XL5 

You can DELETE the top row and PACK. Or you can add a FOR clause with a search condition the filters out the column name row
APPEND FROM xx TYPE XL5 FOR some_column <> 'some word'
