Hi Ahsan

use count() function for checking.

If your are using with sqlexec.
sqlexec(ConnectionHandler,"select count(*) from tablename where fieldname=ac,"test")

if test.cnt = 0
  sqlexec(ConnectionHandler,insert into tablename (fieldname) values(ac))
  sqlexec(ConnectionHandler,update tablename set tl=title where fieldname=ac)

hope this will help you.
