> hi there! I'm doing an interfacing project to one of my toughest subjects. We are using PCB, an 82C55 PPI, 74LS138 decoders, 4phase stepper motor, and a sensor (thru-beam & micro switches). My problem is that, how will i control the sensor using Visual Basic or either Visual Foxpro? Is there any way of doing it? kindly help....thanks for your replies

I have never seen these sensor objects, but I assume that they come with a software package and a SDK. Take a look at the SDK to see if there are any com objects that you can use. If so, you can probably access those objects through VFP or VB - your choice. Assuming that you want to store the sensor data in some sort of database, VFP would be the choice I would make.
