thanks mr. ken and mr. willian for your replies! Well actually the vendor did not gave us any of what you are telling me. Yeah, i really prefer foxpro than vb a lot. But then i dunno how will i do that. by the way, we are using ASSEMBLY LANGUAGE to control the rotation of the stepper motor everytime that the sensor sense. We will need to call those instruction in vfp or vb....but then i dunno how will i do it...especially when there is a flashing text on the screen indicating that the gate is close or still open (WE ARE DOING A MINI-JAIL) So everytime that the sensor sense..automatically all open gate will close, and then if it is already close....our database in vb or vfp will show that the gate is already close...thanks for your replies
