ASM you say? have u tried to make up the compiled set o asm/masm ?
going forward - you can take the object file from the asm compiler (which one are you using, btw?) and then wrap it in a C or C++ call
and then wrap the whole thing into a VFP FLL . Not a trivial thing, btw.

it might be easier for you to make a DLL from the asm source code and then call it directly from VFP. A Lot depends on which ASM compiler you are using, as I recall. Also - sensors of that nature typically are communicating back to a PC along some bus - and you really need to be more specific about WHICH bus this is -
serial, USB, firewire, IEEE something, ethernet, etc etc ...
or
whats the cabling thingie look like?
