Are you starting FoxPro with the "FOX" entry point? Won't work right for newer systems such as Win2000 or XP. Try using "FOXPROX".

Yet another idea I just saw elsewhere said to start the EXE with this pattern: {program}.exe +R

Apparently the "+x" forces the extended mode which is not defaulted to in the Windows NT family. Does either suggestion help?

I run fox -v to verify either my system support extended version of Foxpro 2.5 but all the information reflected that I cannot run my application on it. I need more than 25 files to open in one session.
