Hi,

We have recently shifted our VFP mini ERP system to Python - Mysql and it works like a charm.
It has NO licencing costs and is platform independent. There is a large pool of documentation,
blogs,forums available.

We are currently working on exporting data to various formats available in Open Office and once
we do that, "bye bye to Microsoft" would be possible for our customers (if they wish to do so, and
believe me, I have been getting quite a few queries whether our existing VFP - Mysql application can be run on linux).

hth,

Vivek
