I can respect your love of books but there are some serious shortcomings of computer programming books and non-fiction books in general, the biggest of which is being outdated almost as fast as they're printed. The internet is the new printing press and it is incredibly more efficient than the traditional non-fiction book. While I enjoyed the Encyclopedia Britanica when I was growing up, I am constantly amazed at the breadth and quality of information available online in Wikipedia for example and would never consider going back to the old way or advising my kids to do so...

> I get most of the info I need from the web, but it's not the same as a book. To me personally, a book is ten times better than net info. Pity that there's not much choice for books here in my place.
