Hi,
I cannot see why you do not call the visibility of the label prior to calling the
login function... with a please wait for connection to be established!"

If this connection fails then call a messagebox to advise of the failure.

The other thing that I ponder, is I to have Oracle backends and the authentication
happens in under 1 second? So why is your authentication to Oracle taking sooo long?
