hi amphie. i've also been to where you are right now. my payroll system written in VFP6 talks to the SSS LMS system. i hope the following could help you.

1. Create a data source name for the SSS MS Access database at the ODBC Data Source Administrator. You can find this applet at the Control Panel of Windows.
2. In your VFP code, use the following functions:
a. SQLConnect() to establish connection to the data source name at step 1.
b. SQLDisconnect() to disconnect from the data source.
c. SQLExec() to execute SQL commands like DELETE-SQL and INSERT-SQL.
