You are spot on and because of this I need that component installing on workstations that use our software. The main reason is because I have worked very hard to write generic reusable superbly fast XML parsing using the XmlAdapter classes and without MSXML4 on the workstation the integration simply fails.

It is a slight concern that I am now reliant on an old version of MSXML but it is what it is.

I have a direct download link which I can use to get the MSI file:

Which is useful if you want to automatically download it.
