VFP have a 2GB file size limitation on it's table.

The data was supplied in the form of CSV files, one for each trading day. I created a table named BIGFILE.DBF and wrote a small program to bring in the data using the “APPEND” command.

It stopped a few times when it encountered erroneous file names, and each time I chose the “ignore” option and it resumed its task. When it was about 75% completed, the program hung up and I had to use the MS Task Manager to close it down. At this point I opened BIGFILE.DBF and found no records . . . BUT the properties of the file show it comprising more than 2 gigabytes of data. Can anyone tell me what’s going on here?
