Or you find out what order it says it is set at then modify the structure of the table and add an index on the field that the report says the order is set to.

Thanks Tom and Eric. You both hit the nail on the head. I had improperly defined the order property in the table in the data environment. I really do appreciate the help. I susbscribe to other forums in the field I have experience in (auto repair) and routinely help people solve problems with their cars. It is sort of a humbling experience to have to ask for help with what I am certain is a simple problem and it is nice to know their are people out here willing to help.
