> LOL please bear with me. I am learning new things that way, better than simply following outright what has been said. Not that I don't believe you, I learned a lot from you and in the end I realize that what I am learning is going the way you are preaching all along. Still, that really is my way. Scrutinize the whys first. It adds deeper understanding onto my side of a subject.

> Okay, Mike says use NOFILTER and I do it without knowing why. Then to me I did not really learn. I just followed a sound advice of an expert without knowing the reason why. Sure it keeps me out of trouble without realizing why. Then someone asks me later "why?". And if I have not analyzed it, all I can say is "because Mike says so!" :-U

I noticed that in another thread recently. The one about splitting datetimes. I just said DON'T. I don't have time to explain, but someone else did. I don't remember all the reasons I have a best practice.

mdot is a guarantee that the computer will do as instructed. nofilter is a guarantee that the computer will do as instructed.

We have enough youth. We need a fountain of smart!
There may be many ways to skin a cat, but there are very few right ways to do it.
