But I need to pull down all the data for a table to show on my form, so that users could see all the fields in one glance. They also could use NEXT RECORD/PREVIOUS RECORD/LAST RECORD/TOP RECORD buttons to go through all the rows in the table.

You mean I have to choose between performance and data appearance?

For a CUSTOMER table, if I do not pull down all the fields for all rows, I need to pull down only those key fields such as customer code and name for all rows to have a user select a customer by code or name, and then I need to pull down all the fields for that particular row?
