The image I showed is a class. I use it for all my master file maintenance forms. In this class, I have a custom property called SearchTable where I tell it which search table to use.

Yes, you can store what ever you want in the SQLScript field, so therefore, it will work with any number of joined tables. In the search grid, you will want to show the same items: customer ID, Customer Name, or what ever fields, so the field list of the SELECT script should always be the same. You can use what ever you want in the WHERE clause though.
