Andy,
i read this post at work today, and just thought "you guys rock."
that is exactly what i did in my ignorance....
so that problem is fixed, but the program still terminates for no good reason as soon as the
last control's activate event is processed.
i used =messagebox("got here") commands to track where execution stops, and all of my code seems to work fine.
i have an error event handler in my code that works, but it does not come up with an error before execution is terminated in the .exe
any ideas why a .exe program would quit without an error ?
