Hello Sylilac,

There are several options. A few are:
1) OLE Automate Excel. You can create an instance of the Excel application and tell Excel to write certain values in certain cells. You can decide what values and which fields. Take a look at Simons Excel Wrapperclass in the Article section. There should be a link (in the upper part of the page) to that section on the page that you use to read my reply.
2) Use the FRX2WORD class (it is in the download section). It can transform a vfp report into a Word document. It is not Excel, but you may like it
3) take a look at Vladimirs article "Create a report in the microsoft word format". I think you'll like it. Use the same link as described in option 1.
4) to use a text file: run your report: REPORT FORM ... TO FILE filename ASCII and use the MODI FILE command to display the file to the user
