Double your controls on the FRX, one with back color, another with desired color, and in their PRINT WHEN dialog for those with black color, write lPrintBackColorOnly, for those with other color, write lPrintwithMultiColor.
Before "REPORT FORM yourReport.frx", initialize the 2 boolean variables with .F., and assign .T. to lPrintBackColorOnly if only black color is to be printed, otherwise, assign .T. to lPrintwithMultiColor.

Another approch is to make 2 copies for each FRX, one with black color, the other with desired color, and call the desired copy according to users' prefer, and of course, those 2 copies should have different names.
