I see. i guess there's no other way round it.

Anyway, I have modified your code to the following:

M_bodyTXT = M_FDIR + "my.rtf"

CREATE CURSOR CURSOR1 (GTEXT g)
APPEND BLANK
APPEND GENERAL GTEXT FROM &M_bodyTXT CLASS "RICHTEXT.RICHTEXTCTRL.1"


It works! Just point the OLE control to the GTEXT of CURSOR1.
