Hi Kulwant.

> I am confused what could be the relation between the Internet Connection and the Local Printer and why it slows down my applications output. (The operator loses patience when he has to wait for the printer)

Are you using an FRX report? If so, turn off Printer Environment in the report. Likely the printer saved with the report is not the one they are using. When there is no Internet connection, VFP simply uses the default printer because no other is available. However, as soon as there is an Internet connection, VFP starts searching for the printer defined in the report, until it times out. I have seen this cause a slow down of up to a minute before a report prints.
