Print to a file, and tell your user to open this file in another program, for instance Notepad. From Notepad he can specify the page range and number of copies.

One tip for you. If your old customer wants to use the old FPD version because it's cheaper, you should convince him to upgrade by sending him big bills for your maintenance work of the old system.

There's a fine line between helping and adding to the confusion.
