I think you do want the printer to advance to the top of the next check when it's finished, you just don't want it to skip further than that. The problem is probably the length of the page defined. If open the report in the Report Designer and select the File...Page Setup option, that will bring up a dialog that shows you the page dimension. If you need to change it, click on the Page Setup button on the first page.
