column.DynamicCurrentControl would contain a string-type "expression" that returns your desired control names, e.g. in grid.Init:
This.column1.DynamicCurrentControl = "Iif( theAlias.booleanField, 'Control1','Control2' )"

... or make that a method call, as in Yuri's example.
