When the reports are built, all data is dumped in the cursor tables, then this data is used to build the report. Is this normal practice with VFP? What I did was build a new cursor table to hold the data I need, then I linked the new cursor table to the report table (called RPJOTS) in the Data Environment. Is there anything that you can think of that may be causing this? Thanks for you help!

hi brad. i have two suggestions that i think can help you:

1. Is there any table/query in the data environment of your report object. if yes, remove that table/query so that VFP will use the the new cursor you just created as data source for your report; or

2. If there is a table/query in the data environment of your report object and you are not allowed to remove it, then in your source code, use that name in your cursor table instead of item_desc1

have a nice day.
