Cartridges need to be changed more frequently and special coated paper required to produce high-quality output is very expensive. At a cost per page level, inkjet printing costs about 10 times more than laser printing.

The operation of an inkjet printer is easy to visualize: liquid ink in various colors sprayed onto the paper and other media, such as plastic film and canvas, to build the image. A print head scans the page in horizontal strips, using the printer's motor assembly moves from left to right and back again, while the paper is rolled up in vertical steps, again by the printer A strip (or row) of the image is printed, then the paper moves, ready to next strip. To speed things up, the print head does not print a single line of pixels in each pass, but a vertical row of pixels at a time.

Hi Tushar,
Yes I see it and did a bit of searching. I did find from Epson that this apparently has only
been released on the other side of the world from us here.

"Epson, a player in digital imaging announced the arrival of its genuine branded ink tank system printers: the Epson L100 Inkjet printer and the L200 Inkjet All-in-One for India and a few key Southeast Asian countries."

I wished this were available over here as I may give it a shot.
However over here this is the number 1 item on these printers purchased in the US or Canada. You must
USE genuine Epson.

Forum Computer Peripherals : Printers Epson admits that using tanks will void the warranty!

So I guess there is a double set of standards between us over here and you folks over there
in this matter.

I can purchase ink bottles over here, but here is the cost in the US and Canada.
