The company I work for now is not IT/SW company, so there's no incentive to send someone there. And even with my previous employer, who was in IT business and had FPD/VFP as its major platform for the last 15 years - even then they never sent anybody to any DevCons, even those close to LA/OC area - stingy bastards!

And what with my current financial situation (been out of job for 3 months, daughter on maternity leave and my wife on family leave helping her for the last 6 weeks, frige broke 5 days ago and leaked, making kitchen wooden floor looking like Sierra mountains, so we might be facing total kitchen remodeling... you can guess the rest.)

What - is it about you bringing your guitar with you? (;>) I haven't laid my hands on mine since last year's October, and it's acoustic one (never really played on electric), and I am not exactly the guitar player, rather can do just accompanement to my singing (yep, sing I can).
Well, sorry colleague, my pocket's running shallow at the moment, can't afford it going on my own + Grandpapa's duties require my presence here...

Regards,

Ilya
