Hi Barbara

You could use the DBI scheduler to do this sort of thing and it is highly programmable from within VFP.

It depends on the level of sophistication you want but MAGI (based in Grand Rapids, MI) have a full MRP/ERP and Accounting system written entirely in VFP. It is highly extensible and you can hook into it at many levels see http://www.magimfg.com/ for details. If you need introductions, I know the people well...
