This seems to appear mostly in old workstations but I also experience this with a newer ones. Before looking at each workstation hardware (video card, monitors, memory) I'd like to look at my code first if there are some functions in VFP that I should be avoiding that can be attributed to the issue I've mentioned. In this particular application, I used the
LOCKSCREEN
function before and after each process so my Grid won't flicker during those times. Should I limit this particular function in my application? Please advice. TIA!

The LOCKSCREEN command should not cause you any grief - indeed it is there to do exactly what you want it to do - remove those grid flickers, but it will not cause a screen echo as you are describing. My recommendation would be to have your SysAdmin types go round to each machine and make sure that they have the latest video drivers, check video cards, monitors and other hardware issues.

Thanks Ken. I will go on that route then.
