I played around a little bit with Putty's PSFTP, but I don't think you can change the port using PSFTP. The implementation requires the host site to be able to use a custom port. Any samples would be appreciated as well. I also looked at PowerTCP & Eldos Secure BlackBox, but they don't seem to want to support Foxpro.

I have received some encouraging dialog with an employee of Intelek Technologies Corporation. They have a SDK product called WS_FTP. I should get the evaluation version tommorrow. He has insured me that it works well with VFP. I will keep you posted.
